Problem on the Facebook Fan Page FBML tab.

Hello,

i just visited the fan page and like this. but the problem is the existing FBML tab on this fan page has some problem. this caused due to the recent changes in FBML layout. I am an expert and can fix this. Or if you need suggestion, i can place it here.

what should i do? need any help???

this is the fan page for this forum on facebook. on this customize tab, the graphic has some problem and cuts the line on the right side.

The welcome tab on our Fan Page hasn't been updated for ages. That was designed by the time tabs were wider.

But anyhow, how do you intend to fix it?

I just need to fix the layout. I am an freelance programmer and doing outsourcing for a long time.

i get in this forum from one of the most reliable and trustworthy outsourcing websites, named Scriptlance.

i am an individual and interested about Facebook FBML and will be grateful if you allow me to fix this page as i think this will be a matter of honor...:-)

Are you trying to point out what you consider to be a 'problem' with this forum , or are you discussing what you think is a problem with the forum's Facebook page?

I believe the gentleman, in a polite way, is saying that your credibility as a Facebook Anything is undermined by a very out of date fan page. That's what he's talking about. And it's not a problem that "he thinks" is a problem with the Forum's fan page, it *is* a problem. I only logged in to let you know that you're seriously undercutting your forum's, um, authority as a valuable facebook resource by demonstrating a lack of interest in your fan page or, worse, the inability to fix what is a very simple problem.

The appearance of your fan page is a problem for both your forum and your fan page.

I don't think people could judge our 'authority' by just checking our Fan Page. Its main intention is to use it as a news notifier for our members (getting notified of new topics, tutorials, bugs, etc. on the Forum while they're on Facebook), not to look beautiful. That's not lack of interest, but lack of priority: we have much more important things to focus on rather than just how many fans our welcome tab says we have.

Anyhow, as mentioned above, a new tab, that will no longer use crappy Static FBML, will be launched soon. How soon? I'm not sure.

it's your matter. i tried to help and failed. what else can i do in this forum?? i got some posts with really back dated suggestions here and those seems copy/paste works.....

whatever.......will be here to check this out. Is there any scope to earn money from here as i am a very poor person and i am from Bangladesh.

Save your disrespectful comments to yourself.

You didn't 'try to help'. You're here to make business, just like many spammers we get daily. Otherwise, why would you have left a link to a page that offers this? Helping and getting customers have 2 different meanings, FYI. Trying to help would have been proposing a fix for the tab's width (ie. scrollbars) or a new code; you just left a link and a rude comment.

Thanks Tim. Just to make my point clear. We have a Web development business and so we have to make sure our website walks the walk. If our site looks broken, it weakens our position as experts in websites, and it's bad for business.

Your fan page is broken and because you're a service focused on facebook, it's important that you at least *appear* to get facebook and stay ahead of the curve. I for one would totally write off this forum based on its own facebook presence, even though you are probably really good at some stuff.
