Wall Privacy Issue

When I customize wall privacy to default to Friends except "list_name", the wall is completely blocked from friends in "list_name". Why is that? I should be able to post to my wall override individual post privacy to "friends" and "list_name" should be able to see just those specific posts right? Is this a bug?

Can you take a screenshot of your privacy settings so I can assess the situation?

To answer, your question, no, it is not a bug. Your setting is:

Friends: Excpet: tbw

meaning that all your friends EXCEPT tbw can see your posts.

I know....that's my default setting which I refer to as "list_name" i.e. fbw. My question is when I post on my wall and change the privacy to friends only - it should override that default setting. Meaning when I mouse over the lock icon it says "Friends" NOT "Friends except fbw". Even those on the fbw list should be able to see that specific post. But they can't! So I'm guessing this is a bug...

It's not a bug. That's how Facebook does it. The privacy settings that you set in your accounts are the FINAL settings.

okay that's just weird....because it blocks the entire wall from those friends in the list "fbw"....FB needs to address that. Cos I don't want to hide my entire wall just certain posts...
