Friend lists in event invitations Empty Friend lists in event invitations

In "Select Guests to Invite", you can filter your friends by lists. But now FB shows its predefined lists, which are useless to me, as well as groups, which are not much better. My carefully created lists of friends, which used to be available in this screen, no longer are. How to solve this?
