Glitch in my new facebook account Empty Glitch in my new facebook account

I created a facebook accounbt yesterday, and have been unable to type a status on my home page, or profile page. When I try to type in the status update box, I get a "say who your with" pop up box. I'm guessing this is to assist first time facebook ussers. When I click "okay", it takes me to a random page, or freezes my facebook account. I've tried waiting long periods of time, and it stays that way. How can I fix this glitch, so I can post a status?
