Feeling slightly nostalgic, I was trying to look through my Facebook page's wall. However, I realized that the very last post I can find dates to Aug 2010. However, my fanpage has been around since 2009. All those old posts... are gone...

I know most people are looking to remove the past, embarrassing posts but I'm hoping to find a method to get to all those old posts. Anyone has a solution on how does Facebook decide what to retain in its history and what to make inaccessible?

Facebook seems to purge old content at times. You could maybe try using Google's cache or the internet time archive to check if any old posts might be on it (if your page is public), but if it's not there unfortunately Facebook themselves likely won't retrieve that information
