Section A - Article 1 - Version 1.0: The Social Networking Forum Terms of Service:
Knowledge of these rules and reading are your responsibility. Upon entry to The Social Networking Forum, you hereby agree and acknowledge the rules of this forum as mentioned below. All members to this forum are subject to the rules posted. If, at any time, any of the standards described are not met, the staff reserves the right to intervene and take necessary action in accordance with each case. These rules are valid and binding for the entire forum. Some forum sections may contain additional policies, however they are complementary and do not have clauses that contradict this forum-wide policy. It is the responsibility of the forum members to periodically check our rules for edits, changes, and additions which may change their experience at this forum. The forum rules are subject to change at any time, with or without notice.

For the purpose of this article, 'staff' refers to all authorized personnel of The Social Networking Forum.

Section A - Article 2 - Version 1.2: The Social Networking Forum Private Policy:
Public information you enter during the registration process may be visible to members of this forum; unregistered users and search engines cannot view such data. You can edit your information at any time after you register. The The Social Networking Forum reserves the right to edit any such profile information as deemed necessary.

Personal information including, but not limited to, your e-mail and IP address, will remain private and will not shared and/or distributed to anybody except for the The Social Networking Forum Administrators and Moderators (and in extreme cases, under court order). The passwords you set are encrypted into a database; this makes it impossible for anyone to retrieve your password. Although we are able to reset your password in case you forget yours, we are unable to find out what your current set password is.

You may use Facebook Connect to link your Facebook and The Social Networking Forum accounts, however doing so is optional. Facebook Connect allows you to login to the forum while being logged in on Facebook, and to auto-complete some fields during the registration process. Facebook Connect will not reveal your password or any other private information found on your Facebook Account.

The Social Networking Forum assures you that we have taken the utmost precautionary measures to safeguard any and all information you may enter at our website. However, we are not responsible for any data loss. You should not submit any extremely sensitive data.

Section A - Article 3- Version 1.1: International Law Agreement:
This forum meets international law; we prohibit link uploads, postings and/or content page promotions of the following types:

- Hacking, cracking, network attacks, phishing, malware or bank fraud;
- Pornography, hentai, pedophilia or sexual strength;
- Defamatory, violent, discriminatory (racial, sexist, etc.) content;
- Sale and / or OTC exchange, sale or exchange of drugs or other illicit substances.

The Social Networking Forum reserves the right to change, remove, or censor any messages posted to the forum with or without reason and notice. While the staff tries to edit and/or remove reprehensible messages as soon as possible, it is impossible to instantly review all messages posted at the forum. You thus acknowledge that all messages posted on the forum expresses the sole opinion of their respective authors, and not those of the forum staff members. They cannot and will not be held responsible for any content that is posted on the site.

Section B - Article 1 - Version 1.0: Copyright Material:
All unique codes, text, and graphics found on The Social Networking Forum are considered copyright material. The use of this information without consent of the author and/or of The Social Networking Forum is considered an illegal activity. We hold the right to send a ligation to the host of your website for using this material. These codes, texts, and graphics are considered copyright the moment they are released on this forum.

» Please refrain from any explicit language that promotes sexism, racism, discrimination, slander, libel, cursing, etc.

Section C - Article 2 - Version 1.1: The Social Networking Forum Posting Rules:
» All posts must be posted in the correct forum. If you are unsure about where to post something, please contact one of our moderators or administrators. Do not post multiple topics as this can lead to confusion.
» Posts made in incorrect sections will be marked as spam and will be edited and/or moved. The member may also be warned.
» Do not double post; instead edit your original post.
» No inappropriate language or discussion is allowed. Members will be warned and messages will be edited by a moderator. Repeated offences may result in a ban.
» If a member feels a post is inappropriate / in violation of the forum rules, please report it to the staff by clicking on the 'Report' button. Alternatively, you may send the link to a staff member via the private messaging system.
» Posts involving sexism, racism, segregation, etc. will be edited and the member will be banned.
» Advertising is not allowed in any part of this forum including private messages (PM) and the Chatbox. The link(s) will be removed and the member will lose his/her Private Message privileges, be banned from the Chatbox, and will not be allowed to display an avatar. The member will also get a warning and/or ban, depending on the severity of the case.
» Do not post dangerous URLs - These include links which go to websites which involve information about hacking, scamming or other illegal activities. Not only is it illegal, but many of these sites contain spyware which can be dangerous to yourself and/or other members of the forum.
» Illegal/unauthorized download links (music, video, software) are not allowed.
» Do not post obscene imagery - Posting or linking to images, videos or websites which contain obscene images is not allowed. If you are posting a link to a site which contains swearing, you must say so in your post.
» Do not post links to retro servers - This is partly due to many retro servers being unsafe to use.
» Kindly refrain from commenting on others breaking the forum rules - Although you may just be trying to help, please leave it up to the Moderators and Administrators to deal with rule breakers. This also includes comments asking for another member to be banned or unbanned. If you come across a post which breaks the forum rules, click the Report button and we will deal with it as soon as possible.
» Do not ignore a Forum Moderator's warning - A staff member will send you a private message and/or make a note of it in your profile whenever you break (a) rule(s). You should take these warnings seriously.
» Do not abuse the Report button - Anyone who does so will receive a severe punishment.
» Do not post one or two word sentences as they are a waste and mostly likely can be placed in another post via the edit button. Such posts may be removed without notice.
» Do not post messages of numerous smilies.
» Do not write messages in CAPS or sTICKY cAPS.
» Posting personal e-mail addresses on the forum is not allowed for security reasons.
» Please refrain from posting links hosted by tinyurl, bit.ly, or any other link shortening host.
