You have reached the limit of password reset attempt

I tried to access my account yesterday and needed to login, did so and got message that could not login, tried several times unsuccessfully and then tried to change password, every code sent did not work, finally got message "You have reached the limit of password reset attempt" and cannot access anything.

I would like to get my password reset so I can access the my account. The click Here to report a problem goes to a page that does not exist anymore. "Your password could not be reset.
You have reached the limit of password reset attempts. If you are still having trouble accessing your account, please contact us for assistance"

I see other people have the same issues I think I have supplied all necessary information.

You say you tried to access your account ?

this suggests you may have been trying for some time and maybe from a different location to normal?

Then sounds like you have gotten so far with pawword reset and had to stop?

Of interest, is the email address you have assocaited with Facebook still accessible ansd can you send and receive emails with it ?

Do you think your Facebook account has been hacked or Phished?

I do not know if it has been hacked or not, I would like to change my password at this point in order to access my account but cannot because of the previous message

My email address is fine and I can receive emails without a problem including the email from this forum indicating I received this reply

So can you not log into Facebook?

I have already looked at that link and it is NOT helpful, I change password and code does not work and limit of change requests has been reached. The link to click here for assistance form does not work Who do I access for assistance?

excuse me but I just gave you the legitimate URL for Facebook to see if that is the one you are trying to use for Facebook
What links have you tried to get a code from Facebook and have you enabled all email addresses from Facebook?

Do we need to assume your Facebook account has been Hacked?

I presume you have opened your spam/junk email section of your email address to see if it is in there?

I presume you have also enabled all necessary emails addresses from Facebook

Absolutely I have checked and double checked MY junk mail filer does NOT block facebook email and I also put facebook emails inot my safe senders list

what do you mean by this? You get directed to a Facbook account that is not yours?
