Birthday information problems

I've tried several times to change my birthday to my original birthday, but after saving changes I clicked on my profile. It still shows that my birthday is today. (Today as in, if today is 27 July 2010, it shows 27 July 2010). Can someone please help me, I would greatly appreciate that. Thanks.
