Taking a screan-shot...problems
what if you cant get the print screen button to work?

I have not been able to get the print screen thing to wokr on my computer since I have had it i go to my home page on facebook and hit the print screen and it does nothing. Do you think I should try a differnet computer and see if I can get it pic of it on here.. THe problem I am having with facebook is my request box is missing. Thanks

In addition what happens when you try to paste it in a photo-editing program, such as Microsoft Paint?

I am using windows vista the operating system is 32 bit form what i can find on here in the computer info

when i go to paste it in the paint thing it shows nothing the screen is still blank

Does your laptop have a 'FN' key? If so, try holding that key while pressing 'PrintScreen' and see if it works.

yes as far as i know I do...... A few months back i tried to get the print screen button to work and it would not.. I guess i will have to take to the guy up the strret and get him to look at it and see why it is not working..

Did it used to work before? I suspect that it might be a hardware issue, so ya that would be a good idea to have someone take a look at it.
If you'd like, there are many screencapturing software that you could use temporary until you get it fixed, if necessary

No i have not been able to get that to work since i have had the computer...Thanks for all ur help and the info that u have gave me.. I will take it and have the comptuer guy check it out and seee of he can get it to work

Try Clicking the 'fn' button on your laptop keyboard and then printscreen

Mod note ; is this still a problem or have you now managed to get the Print Screen Key working ?
