Here's the story:
I was planning to change my name but when I entered it in, it's being automatically rejected by facebook. So I tried to fix it by 'googling' for answers til' I landed on one saying to put letter by letter which was said to be a bug on facebook. And so I tried that trick but sadly, that answer was a few weeks back. I wasn't aware that facebook changed its ways on how to change names. At first I thought it was working because it's not being rejected, but only until midway that a message popped out that the limit was reached. How exactly do I fix this problem? I need to put my real name back.

May I know what name you'd like to put? It doesn't have to be your REAL name, just an example of what you mean.

Here's an example:
Lets say I would like to enter 'blurrycloud' as my name. Facebook automatically rejects it and I tried the bug I read about putting letter by letter starting with 'b'. I put entered 'blu', facebook accepts it without problems. Then 'blur', 'blurr', 'blurry', until all letters of 'blurrycloud' is entered. And before I reached all letters, the limit message popped out.

Now I can't seem to change my name, just a drop down list of previous names I used which consists of combined big and small caps, which seems childish. I only put my real name on the 'Alternate Name' so far.

Then may I suggest you just put your initials then? At least your alternate name works.

Yeah luckily alternate name is working.

It seems like my name is permanent already.
I'm just looking if there's a way to remove that name change limit.
