Username for my Fanpage with DOT

I have w problem with username for my Fanpage. I want to set friendly URL for Fanpage, but I need the username with DOT.
For example facebook.com/my.company
But when I set my new Username, form view alert: "my.myname is not available" !
Of course this name is free, and username without DOT - "myname" is available.
Why this name with DOT is not available? Fanpage don't have username with DOT ?

The dot one could be taken... what's exactly the username/alias you want?

I have got message from Facebook that I can not set the Username with ".pl" at the end.
Because I tied to set the username for my fanpage: "companyname.pl"
(.PL is polish domain extention)

.pl, as you said, is a domain extension. That is probably why use of that phrase has been disallowed by Facebook.
