Account Compromised

Hi guys,
I had a facebook account i used to log in with my hotmail email adress. One day somebody apparently hacked into my email address, used that to get into my facebook account and deleted the email address associated with that account, and he added his own to it which I can't seem to remember. When i got access to my hotmail email again, i requested a password reset from facebook as i thought that he wouldnt have changed the email address associated with the account. However after receiving an email from facebook in my hotmail account. it took me to make a new account. So I have a new account and have lost access to that old account. I keep writing to facebook but they keep saying that I have a facebook account associated with this hotmail account. BUTTHAT IS THE NEW ONE. I am hoping I can find a way to get access to my old one. Can anyone help me please ?

But this must be done on a computer you know to be clean and clear from infections ...

Hey Ruby thanks for your reply. I have tried the first link many times but it cannot identify any such account (may be he changed my username as well). What else can I do ? The hacker changed my email address and put his instead and since I have a new account, on this email address will facebook beleive me ? Also at the end of the second link it says "Thank you for taking the time to submit this report. Please note that we will not be able to respond directly to this report; however, it will be used to help us identify any bugs in our system. We apologise for any inconvenience this may cause." Does this mean that they are using my form for their own research rather than hleping me ?

You fail to tell us what if anything is the Protection on the one computer you use to access Facebook....

You have access to what was the email address associated with Facebook ..yes?

You will have had an email from Facebook telling you about the change to the email addresses you give to Facebook ; please find that email and read it....

Hi, I actually figured out what the email address of the hacker was. Is there a way I can report this to facebook and get my account back ?
