If someone has their wall open to "Everyone" and I comment or like any of their posts, it shows up on the news feed to everyone even if they're not friends with this person. I don't want friends seeing what I comment on an individual friend's post. I can't find a setting to block this, so I have to ignore posts that might be controversial even though I would like to engage in the dialogue. I've searched and can't seem to find a solution.

I'm not fully understanding your issue, sorry. How would a comment show up on mutual friends' news feeds?
