News Feed Status Empty News Feed Status

Last year, in the status, I attached a link to an event that I shared with my friends. This year, the same event is happening and when I attach the link to the status, last year's event comes up instead of this year's. Is there a way to clear the status of the previous event?

It is an annual event and every year there is new information and graphics for the upcoming event.
