Open Account Empty Open Account

I have tried to open an account so many time now that I have lost count. Everytime I enter my name it says it is not valid. I have completed the form that they send me and they say wait. So I wait. Then after waiting 2 days they have me sign up on my wifes account. This does not solve the problem I would like to have my own FB account.

Can anyone help me or steer me in the right direction?
