Friend requests Empty Friend requests

I've sent a friend request only to find that the request doesn't show up on my friend list. When I try to add them again and click on send it freezes and nothing happens. Why is this?

Hello,

First of all, clean you browser's cookies and cache.

Then go to Friends --> Type his name and see if he is awaiting your Friend Confirmation.
