How do you report a hacker?
I am a member of a group, which has just been made private because of so many hacks. Still this one individual is hacking into the group and changing all of the information, descriptions and the profile picture. I have reported said individual for pornographic content on his personal page, but when I try to report his abuse in the group I am not permitted. I am asked to go to the page directly and report from there. I can not. He is NOT a member, he is a hacker. I know he is changing things, I get a notice every time he does. The groups members are getting frustrated and people are leaving. Any suggestions?

Hi,
So you don't know the exact person that is hacking (ie. he has no facebook profile that you know of)?

We know exactly who he is, and I have reported him for pornographic content on his facebook personal page. I just can not report him from the group page, as he is not a member (of the group being hacked.) And we all WANT him reported!

If he isn't a member you won't be able to report him via that Group.
The only thing you can do is going to his profile and clicking on "Report/Block this user". Trust me, it works really fast
Good luck!

Re: How do you report a hacker?
I reported him... I hope they do something. The link he had in his contact info was disturbing.... *shudder* Too bad we can't report him for hacking, but I'll be happy to have him under facebook review for this other issue.
Thanks for your help!

If you have solid proof (facebook keeps IPs logged), and if it's that serious you may be able to bring this to court, or at least the local authorities
Due to the nature of this thread I am assuming this is now 'resolved'
