Accepted Friend request but we're not appearing on each other's friends list

Any suggestions or ideas. Still have the email with the links to accept the friend request but nothing really happens when I click them. Although accepted friend request she's not showing up in the friend list and even her wall page is no longer visible to my account. Weird.

Go to Account --> Edit Friends --> Type her name --> Click on the "X" next to her name

Then go to her profile and add her
