Facebook word alert

Hi! Can anyone please tell me if there is such thing as a "facebook word alert", that is, a system which alerts you in case a specific word or topic is written on your facebook page? I was thinking something like Tweetbeep but for facebook.

That's not possible, there's no RSS Feed for Fan Pages at the moment

However, I think it's possible to subscribe to your friend's posts, but I'm not quite sure.

I did some research and I found you can find the RSS Feed of your Notifications on this page. Click on "Via RSS" or "Via Text Message", the way you'd like to be warned of new notifications

not really :-( ... What I was trying to find was if you can somehow track a word if your fans write it on your wall. for example, let's say you want to know if someone writes about "contemporary dance" in your page. Can you be warned when this happens? Have I made myself clear ;-)...

I understand what you're trying to do, but unfortunately that's not yet possible. However, you could suggest Facebook to implement this. Need the link to make your suggestion?

You have gotten me curious You seem to be wanting to 'monitor' the Page input? Or are you suspicious that people may be putting unwanted content on the page ....
