Dear Team,

kindly need your support, how to fix my account hence able to login normally. Currently I face problem stuck in [You must be registered and logged in to see this link.] every time tried to login. I have reset my password but still can't solve the problem. my account is ketut widya[email adress removed].

need your suggestion.

What error message(s) do you receive when you try to login?

Dear Team,

I didn't get specific error, but whenever I logged in, the process stuck to open "please review your recent activity" page (https://ssl.facebook.com/roadblock/). The loading process was never completed (take very long time). But whenever my friend logged in by his own user from the same login page, it's directed to his facebook home page immediately.

Could you please explain why it's happened and how to solve it??

How long have you been unable to gain access to your account (That is, how long have you been faced with the 'Please review your recent activity' page)?

I got this problem since 7th July 2010, so It have been 4 days I unable to login.

What browser & version are you using?

On the page, do you just see a blank page that can't load, or something else?

I tried open in IE 8, Mozilla/5.0 and chrome.

When and how (on a private computer or on a public one ) did you manage to reset your Password?; did you actually need to do that or just wanted to ?

One assumes you still have access to and can still use the E-Mail address you have associated with Facebook ??

I reset my password yesterday, after read the article whenever my account is hacked the suggestion is to reset the password. The process to reset password also consumed lot of time for loading the page and finally I able to reset my password after waiting for long time.

I still able to access my mail address that I use to log into facebook. with new password I still face the same problem, so I think that is not the solution.

Need your suggestion

You say you reset your password only yesterday?

Is that correct

Did you use the same computer as you are using now to do that?



I think we need to know what your computer protection ( if any) is and when was it all last updated and full scans run on it ?.......

I am using the same computer and use windows 7 home basic as OS. last update of my windows was on 6th July, I've just restored it but still face the same problem. I tried to log in by using other PC still not working.

I am just using protection from windows only.

but there is no problem with my friends account log in from my pc or from his pc.

is there something wrong with my account ??

Please let us know exactly what your computer protection is ( why dod you need to do a 'Restoration ?)

what is the Antivirus program and what other malware-finding programs do you have on there?

It is possible the computer you are using is infected, hense the questions ....

Your friend may wish to not use your computer as they too may find themselves locked out of Facebook

Please advise them to go to their own computer and change their Facebook password on their own computer ....

I am using the same computer with windows 7 as OS. the protection system is from windows only.

What if any antivirus protection do you have on there ?

I suggest you do not allow anyone else to use the computer until we are sure it is not infected ....

I was using kaspersky internet security. btw I tried to log in from different pc also face the same problem.

You will face the same problem on another computer as your Facebook account has been , I think,Hacked.....

What do you intend doing about getting any antivirus protection on there???

I strongly suggest your friend goes to his own computer and changes his Facebook Password before he too looses access to Facebook as he has used your probably infected computer to access Facebook

My antivirus just expired, so currently I just use my windows firewall.

with the greatest of respect, the Windows Firewall cannot be used as a'substitute' for an antivirus program

What I can suggest is , if you know your friends computer is , or another computer you know to be clean, you can try to reset your password on one of those machines
You say you can access your emails so this form should work

but you must get your own computer properly protected or all of this is really pointless.....


If you can achieve than then let us know if you manage to log into Facebook on a known clean computer and log out of it

then we need to get your computer properly protected

As ruby has stated, I would strongly recommend you to get a antivirus program for your computer as soon as possible. If you still get a blank page when trying to login, you may submit a bug report on the following link. [You must be registered and logged in to see this link.]

Either way though, I urge you to put a antivirus program on your computer as soon as possible (preferably before you submit the bug report), as the Windows-built in firewall is not sufficient to protect you from viruses. As Ruby mentioned there is a possibility your account has been comprimised and that your computer is infected.
