How do I end my facebook page, so I can start a new one

can someone tell me how to quit my facebook page. I tried to do a community page and for some reason it adds words to my e-mail address and I can't go any further. So I would like to start the whole process over.

Moved to Fan Pages support

To delete your page (not Facebook account) click on 'Edit Page' and then on 'Delete page' at the top of the page.
