Change of relationship status without it showing on my friends news feed

Hi all,

Just broke up with my girlfriend, and I would like to change my relationship status from "in a relationship" to nothing. Only, I don't want to make a broadcast about it to all my friends through their news feed. I don't want them to see something like "John Doe is no longer listed as in a relationship". Frankly it is none of their business, the break up is already hard enough without having to send a freakin' breaking news alert to everybody I know.

Well you have a couple options.

1) Change your relationship status to single and then remove it from your profile

2) Go to your Privacy settings, click customized settings, relationships, Make Visible to these people: Only me

Save and that should be it.
