Posts and Sent email about posts

I have a simple question. I posted something a little nasty on someones walll, clicked the send button but not even 5 seconds later I decided that it was a bit harsh so I deleted the post. My question is...does the email that says ,someone posted to your wall get sent to the persons wall I sent it to? Being that I deleted it soo fast, I would figure no. Im hoping not....lol Can someone answer me asap?

An e-mail notification will still be sent to them and they will be able to read what you've posted via e-mail. I've tried that already.

However...this event may (hopefully)give you and others a nudge as to how to behave towards others ...
