Games Graphic Lag

Hi guys, I usually play Facebook games on my Laptop. It's an Acer Aspire 4520. It sucks IMO Anyways onto the problem. I use my Desktop for PC games such as Mass Effect 2, Assassin's Creed II, etc. Earlier I felt bored and played Nightclub City. I noticed that the Graphics were lagging, full screen and windowed even in low quality. I'm using Google Chrome. On my laptop, however, the graphics don't lag. I also use Google Chrome on it. How could my laptop with lower specs not lag while my Desktop does?

Any ideas on how to solve this?

Specs of Desktop:
500gb (2x) Seagate SATA HD
4gb RAM (3gb usable due to 32bit OS)
Windows 7 Ultimate 32-bit
Sparkle Nvidia 9500gt Approx. 2gb memory (1gb usable)
Intel Core 2 Duo 2.95 ghz

Laptop:
AMD Turion 64 X2 1.9 Ghz
1Gb RAM
Nvidia GeForce 8400M G (Approx 373 MB)

Do you have Flash Player 10 installed? Almost every Facebook game I know uses Flash

Yeah. All flash players are up-to-date. I've even tried uninstalling them and reinstalling them and it still lags.

Has this only happened with Nightclub city or with any other app?

All Facebook games.

Okay. Have you added any browser extension to Chrome or any Facebook Prototype that could be slowing it down?

Account > App Settings > Prototypes

Just the Facebook beautify extension for Chrome. I have it on my laptop too but it's not slow.
