Facebook ID number

Hi

I wondered if anyone could tell me how to find my facebook id number?
On the top screen it only comes up with my user name no id number and I have tried other suggestions like hovering over my picture and that doesnt seem to work, is this a number I have to request or should I just have one?

You must click on your profile picture first, then you'll be taken to a different place. Once you're there, see the numbers at the end of your URL? That's your ID.

If you're still having issues, give me your profile link and I'll gladly tell you what your FB ID is
