PROFILE PIC MISSING!

Hi, I've copied and pasted somebody else's problem below...I'm experiencing exactly the same thing. Can anyone help with the following??:

I deactivated my account and reactivated it again recently. Before The deactivation, my profile pictures were still there but now when I click on my profile picture, it says "there are no pictures in this album." When I click View Photos on the top left hand corner, the pictures are in an album called profile picture archive but other than that when I directly click on my picture on the main page, nothing shows up. Please help?

Do you still have the picture saved to your computer? Or is it uploaded anywhere else on the internet?

Yeah, it's still on computer. And I've deleted and uploaded it again and again but still have the same problem...it just says "there are no pictures in this album." when I click on the profile pic

Have you tried clearing your cache and/or deleting your cookies? Also try using another browser or upload it from another computer.

I've tried other browsers, other machines, but still have the same problem.
It seems it's happened to a lot of people after they've deactivated then reactivated their account...I just can't find out how to fix it.

Could you possibly try doing it on another computer, and seeing if it works there?

So your whole profile pictures album is missing? Can you see your friends profile pictures?

It's the same problem on other computers too.
Definitely a Facebook problem rather than a computer one I think.
Yes, I can see other friends profile pics...it's just mine that's gone missing. I still have a small thumbnail profile pic but once clicked on it says it's missing. Also, on iPhone it just appears as blurred low res image rather than giving the alert "there are no pictures in this album"

Unfortunately, I haven't been able to resolve my problem, and nobody has been in touch with any further suggestions.
I know it's a Facebook problem as I've seen it reported in other forums.
If you could help out then that would be great.

Not since contacting Facebook from the link that you or another administrator supplied.
Still not heard anything back.
Any suggestions that may help out?
