Cant verify my account

This morning I tried using the Share function on Google toolbar to share a web page on Facebook. I got a message saying I was trying to share from an unknown site and Facebook wanted me to verify I was the actual owner of the account. It displayed phones of people and offered my a choice of friends names. Unfortunately, the faces on the people did not match any of the names of my friends. In fact the faces were of people I did not know. Maybe they were friends of friends and Facebook just thought I should know them, I don't know.

But anyway, I tried skipping them hoping to get people I actually knew. No luck. So I gave up for the time being and went on to other activities. when I came back later and tried to log onto Facebook, I received another message saying I had to verify I was really the owner of the account. And the whole dog and pony show started all over again. This time I was presented with pictures of me, but my name was not5 listed among the choices to choose from. After skipping that group of photos, I was told I would have to wait an hour before I could try to verify my account again.

Will I ever get my account back?

And a' heads- up' about Facebook Policy

They do not appreciate anyone logging into Facebook from a place you do not normally use for Facebook

They want to know it is you and not an imposter trying to access the account

Hense their Security measure!!

I finally figured out what I needed to do and now my account belongs to me once again.
