Missing the "Add to list" option by friend request

Hello,
I have one question. When I send someone a friend request I get only the option to send a message with it. But I can't select to which friend list I want to add him, the selection box is missing. Does anybody have an idea what the reason could be?

I still get the "Add to List" button whenever I send a Friend Request. Could you try checking if the same problem appears when you try adding someone else?

Otherwise, instead of adding him/her to a list before being friends, you could do the same after (s)he has accepted it, on Account => Edit Friends.

first of all thank you for your answer! Yes I got this problem by everyone I want to add but I really don't know why. This is starting to annoy me. The suggestion to sort my contacts afterwards is not bad but not the best solution when not everybody should see the same ;-) Still hoping for a solution.

How many friend lists do you have, and how many friends does each have?

I've got two lists with one person in each at the moment because I want to find a solution before I start adding more people.

Please create a new testing friends list and see if anything changes. The current 2 lists you have could somehow be "hidden".

By any chance, have you tried using a different web browser? Could be a display issue too... so far nobody else has reported this same problem.

I've just now created a new list but nothing has changed. Also a different browser brings no solution. Could it be that this feature is not avaible in Germany? Otherwise in the german Facebook help section they say that it is avaible. I'm starting thinking that I'm really the only person with this problem...

No, your language or IP shouldn't be relevant.

You're, so far, the only one who has reported this problem... this is why this looks weird to me. This feature is working in both of my accounts, and with a German proxy I used to have a German IP address.

You should go ahead and report this to Facebook [You must be registered and logged in to see this link.]. Please note that it may take up to 2 weeks for the problem to be solved, and you won't get notified when it does, so you have to check if something has changed eventually.

Also, we'd appreciate if you let us know when the problem is sorted out for you.
