How can a new group member see a list of all existing events?

I am a group administrator. When a new member joins I want them to be able to see a list of all events created on behalf of the group, including events created prior to them joining the group. Is it possible? I heard it used to be possible once upon a time.

I know this question has been asked elsewhere, but I am not permitted to reply to them to elaborate on the question, so I am asking again here.

There is nothing you can do to ensure that new members can see old events.

What about events that haven't happened yet but were created prior to the member joining the group?

New members can't see them?

I've been manually inviting new members because they've been complaining they can't see the event. I'm not sure if it's because they are new to FB or FB does not let them see it because it was created prior to their joining.
