Account appears to be disabled after falling for malicious script
Help. I think my account has been disabled. I stupidly fell for a malicious script hoax. I got logged out of Facebook and now I can’t log back in. It keeps going to a page saying that no verification methods are available. My husband checked from his account and I show on his friend's list but there is no link to my page and pictures he tagged me in had the tag removed.
I tried going through the password reset and my account has been hacked methods with no luck. I tried to submit the form appealing the account being disabled and it said my email address didn’t belong to a disabled account. I am at a loss what to do here.
For what it's worth, my system has been scanned and is clean. My husband and children are able to access their accounts without issue but I can't access mine from any device or use it to log in to a web page (like this one).

Re: Account appears to be disabled after falling for malicious script
Update: I had sent an email to the report a login issue link I found on here. They replied back a few minutes later with an email saying they thought the account might have been compromised and had been locked to protect it and directed me to go to the main facebook page and login and follow the steps. That still didn't work.
On a hunch my wonderful hubby turned off the wifi connection on his phone (to get a different IP he said) and used it to pull up the desktop version of the site and log in. It asked me to name the new device and then said that because I had successfully completed the verification my account was unlocked and let me log in. After that I was able to log in from my browser no problem. Apparently something had gotten stuck and using a different IP address fixed it.
You can mark this one as solved but I wanted to share in case it helps anyone else.
