How do I correct the way my News Feed looks on my screen? Empty How do I correct the way my News Feed looks on my screen?

I went in to Edit Options and made changes to see all of my friend's postings and clicked on Save. I then clicked on Home and now the News Feed is spread across my entire screen and the X to remove a post is all the way to the right past the ads. How do I correct this?
