New - trying to get my signature working..........I'm stuck!

Hello - I'm so happy to have found this forum!
I'm trying to get my signature working, but..........I'm stuck - it just doesn't work!
Anyone know why?

You need more than 10 posts for your signature to work.

Like iMeow mentioned, you need at least (not more) 10 posts to display a signature on your posts. Security reason against spammers. Also, be sure to attach it on Account >> Privacy Settings >> Always attach my signature.

Please note that you can't use HTML on signatures. Security reason against hackers and troublemakers who like to mess up with codes. Use BB code instead, like this.

Oh, it just occurred to me - can I attach a pic to my signature? Like imeow's? ....and still have a clickeable signature?

Yes, first of all you need to host the image (The photo icon with the little disk on it), copy the 3^rd link you get (direct one) and pasting it on your signature like this:

So, in this forum, am I not allowed to leave a signature which points to a business whatsoever? Really? So I cannot leave a link that points to my artwork, which is for sale?

With respect it all depends on what The Rules are on the particular Forum you happen to be on .....
??Have you come to this forum merely to seek to promote and advertise your 'Product'?

There was nothing wrong with your signature, as long as it goes to a Facebook page, it is allowed. What we don't allow are external links, because if we do, this place will turn into an advertising market.

Wouldn't it be a good idea to add this information in the FAQ or somewhere?

I have been looking for the answer to why my signature doesn't show either. I guessed that you might have to make a certain number of posts as in some other forums I am a member of but it's useful to know what the rules are.

Hi Sandy,

Welcome to the forum. The aforementioned signature limit was implemented relatively recently due to spammers, and we haven't had time to update the official rules/getting started guide with this information yet. Thanks for letting us know; I will update it shortly.
