Confirmation Code never sent Empty Confirmation Code never sent

I have taken the following steps.

Went to register phone page
Choose US and Verizon
Removed signature
Sent text with f then on then fb to fbook (32665) as directed
Never got confirmation code text

tried to send a pic, it was rejected

I've had this cell phone for two years on a contract.

What is wrong?

Your Contract is not with Facebook but with the Mobile phone people ; you do know that ..yes?
You fail to tell us whether you actually managed to Register the Mobile devise with Facebook?

I most obviously know that Verizon gets a check every month from my account and Facebook does not. The reason that I mentioned that I have a contract that is two years old is that I scoured all of the Faqs I could find and one of them mentions that a newly transferred phone will cause problems.

I have not been able to register my phone. I receive and send texts from all other sources but I have yet to receive a text confirmation or any text from FB. I'm sure I am doing something incorrectly but I do not know what it could be.

Can you offer me some support or let me know if you need further information?

With respect, if you have not yet been able to Register the phone with Facebook how will you expect to get any communication from Facebook into it?

Ok. How do I register it then. I have followed all of the directions in the Faq's to no avail. I have attempted to register, followed the directions and not gotten a confirmation code.

Log into Facebook/Home/scroll down to' Activate your Mobile phone'/Register for Facebook Text Messages/click on that and proceed..

Not all devises are compatible with Facebook so you may not be able to Register your devise..

I have already been to that page, but thank you. Is there a list of devices that are incompatible? I know that Verizon is compatible and my daughter has the same phone that I do a "Samsung Reality". She has been able to get text notifications on her phone. What she cannot do is send a pic message or send an email post with her phone.

Whatever the problem, it goes beyond the scope of the available faq's. If you have any further suggestions, please let me know.

I did as you'd asked above again. I asked FB to text a link to my phone. No text message.

I signed up for facebook text messages but received no confirmation code.

I realize it will be a bit redundant but would you list the steps I would take to register my device? I believe I have done everything correctly and for some reason FB has never returned a confirmation code nor a text message to my phone.

I would LOVE to register my device with facebook.

Yes. Matter of fact I tried it again yesterday. I've never received the confirmation code. Any help will be greatly appreaciated.

With the greatest of respect...if you have not been able to Register the Mobile devise with Facebook you really cannot expect to get anything from Facebook to it can you ?

It may be the same phone but what Network/Provider is it on?

Can you maybe ask her to log into her Facebook account and go to the Add a mobile devise' and see what options she gets?

Does she see any options for your Provider in her Options?

My daughter is 15. Her phone is on my plan. I can only think that I'm probably doing something wrong. We both have a Samsung Reality on the Verizon network. I've removed my signature and have followed directions on every FAQ on the FB website.

The only thing I want from facebook is a confirmation code. I can't seem to get one.

Appreciate you seek a Confirmation Code but you have to get over the initial 'hurdle' of Registering your Devise with Facebook....
