Is there a way to hide certain people on my friend list?

Is there a way to do it? I have this on my mind like creating a new list of friends whom I want to hide but I don't know exactly how to do it or maybe there's another work-around?

I'm afraid there isn't, you can only hide your entire friend list from others.
