Would appreciate any help with this question. I have setup a page for my church by 'Create Page' after logging in via my facebook account. In order to get a username for an organization (and to access URL with that appended username), I understand the requirement from Facebook is to have atleast 25 fans.

My question is this: I sent 'suggestion' to over 30 friends from my facebook contacts and none of them received the message or a suggestion or a notification. Am I doing something wrong?

The fact that you sent a page suggestion doesn't mean they'll be listed as "Likers"/Fans. They need to "Like" your page manually to be listed as such... and you need 25 people (friends or non-friends) to do this to get your username.
