I am wondering what "Poke" is used for in Facebook? For example, I select someone's profile and then click "Poke". So what will happen then? Sorry for being unaware of my knowledge.

If you poke a friend, he/she will get a message saying that you poked him/her. Then that person can poke you back.

It really serves no purpose, but it can be a fun game sometimes.
