Fanpage unvisible

Our companies Facebook fanpage is unvisible if you try to search for it on Facebook. This is killing for the growth of the page. Any idea how this is possible? Can it be related with other fanpages who have the same fanpagename but started earlier than me?

Or is it just a SEO problem?

Possibly.... but may one ask why you chose to choose a name for your Fanpage that is already in use by someone else?



Has the admin of the Facebook account checked for emails from Facebook about the duplication and the deletion of the Page?

I tried to search within the searchbar in Facebook. I am the owner of the page so now i can find the page but I tested to find our page with an account that hasn't the connection with our page and then the page is unvisable.

Good question, the issue is that it's my new job within a company and my colleague who started the page didn't realise that thats important.

There is also another account with the same name, but that account looks unmanaged. Can Facebook claim this page for me and merge the two pages?

If you do a search for your Page via Google can you find it?

I doubt it as you do not own the other page do you ?

Have you yet tried to contact the owner of the other page via its Wall?

May we have some feedback on this or sadly this thread will be sent to the abandoned section

New pages may take a while to populate into Facebook's search database. Give it a while and it should show up in searches shortly
