About Privacy

I don't want nonfriends to see my fan pages and basic information in search results. I couldn't find any option in privacy settings :S I've been looking for help for a longtime. Please help me, thanks..

Hello,

Go to the Settings Tab --> Privacy Settings --> Profile Information --> Select everything you consider Private information (About me, Birthday, etc.) visible to "Only Friends".

And you cannot hide the Pages you're a Fan of, that was only possible with the old Privacy Settings

Yes i did all the things "Only Friends" but everyone still sees my basic information I don't understand :S
But some of my friends can hide their fan pages :S

Like this, in the [HIDE] method, so then you won't be sharing it with everyone, which is against the Rules.

I can see your Sex, Current City and Network.

You can change Current City to Hometown (which can be hidden), which is basically the same. Go to your Profile --> Info --> Hometown and write the place where you live. Then delete your Current City. To hide your Hometown, go to Settings --> Privacy Settings --> Contact Information --> Hometown --> Select Only Friends.

Your network cannot be hidden, and judging your piture, I think it's not neccesary to hide your sex.

Thank you very much but i think old privacy settings were better

You're not the only one I really liked the old settings, you could avoid the recent activity to be posted on your Wall, which was great. And also you had more control over it.
