I am replying to posts on facebook and my reply is not getting to the recipient

This just started a day ago--people are sending me messages which I see on facebook--I am replying and am getting the following error message

Technical details of permanent failure:
Google tried to deliver your message, but it was rejected by the recipient domain. We recommend contacting the other email provider for further information about the cause of this error. The error that the other server returned was: 550 550 5.7.0 ... The address you reached is invalid.Please contact Facebook via [You must be registered and logged in to see this link.] for help. (state 14).


I have never had this happen--I have a gmail account--can anyone help me?

I have always been able to "reply", type my reply and send and then it gets posted.

Are you replying to this messages in your Inbox? What happens when you hit the 'Send' button? Can you take a screenshot of this problem?

as you can see, I am new to this facebook forum--I am trying to figure out how to post. I think I figured it out but obviously posted in the wrong forum. So, should I be posting in Facebook Support.

I have gmail account--when someone writes something in facebook, it goes to my gmail account. When I select reply I am getting an error that it didn't get delivered to the recipient. For example, when someone sends me a mesg on facebook, gmail sends me notification--the following is an example:

"Jen's 23rd Birthday" sent you a message on Facebook...

I don't know how to make the recipient get my response--never had a problem with this until now

Hello,

I don't think it's possible to reply to a Message on Facebook via e-mail, that only works with the Comments.

I guess that means I need to go to the link provided in gmail and then respond to the link vs selecting reply in gmail?!

Erm, yeah, I'm afraid that's the only thing you can do now. However I think I'd be nice if Facebook developed a feature to make this work.
