@Betty: I tried the same thing with my friend and he received code without any problem - but it wasn't 4 digit code - it was combination of 4 characters and 2 numbers. But everything worked!

Betty - do you live in one of countries that are listed in pop up? Maybe we can enter your mobile number and you will receive code. We can than log in with our passwords and code you receive!

I'm in USA. Sorry, I do not have a Mobile phone. That was my problem, but I was able to "confirm identity" with a different option. Go [You must be registered and logged in to see this link.] to understand. Sorry! Betty

Ok, I have changed my password again... and send email to adress from where facebook send me notification - as you did... I hope this will help, becouse It is all getting so frustrating... Sad

Thank you for the LOL! I do understand your frustration. Duhhh

My phone # would do you no good without the FB page offering you a different option of confirming your identity. When that happens, you can enter your own/friends phone #.

Remember, your emails to FB are received by different people/machines at different locations -- maybe even different countries. You just need to "hit a home run" with 1 of those employees!

Yes I agree
It seems to be common problem for users outside the USA.
I got the same problem and clicked on "Or use a different verification method" and nothing happen, just go to the same page all the time.

I get option for new code and i type my mobile phone and i didn't get any code! My mobile is +385 098 2** *** , i type: (+385) 982***** then (+385) 0982***** then (+385) 00385982***** then (+385) 003850982*****

but nothing!!!

retry and see if you get the option

FB added a new option to add new mobile phone number, so everything is ok now.
