NEW KID ON THE BLOCK

My name is Bil - that is spelled with one L, sort of an issue with me.

I recently discovered Facebook and have to admit that I at first turned my nose up at it when I was first introduced by a group of friends. All I saw was a bunch of people playing mindless games. But I finally checked it out a little closer and realized I could create a Family History Site that would draw cousins into a family circle via cyberspace. A Virtual Family Reunion. I had similar sites on MyFamily.com that sort of died a natural death due to lack participation. But it was when I realized that my audience was already gathered and checking in on a daily basis at anytime of the nite or day. BINGO!! Everybody went nuts for our Hartman Family Site. Even the younger family members who poo pooed the idea before hand were showing an interest. I don't have to go out and beat the bushes for participation. They are coming to me. AND I don't have to beg for photos, I just go to their site and grab what pictures I want. I LOVE FACEBOOK!!
