How secret are secret groups
I created a secret group dealing with death announcements of classmates. Facebook says that, for these groups,: Secret: No public content. Members can see all content. Not displayed on members' profiles.
FOUR hours after posting on a supposedly secret group, the announcement show up on my homepage. What happened to "No Public Content"????

Hello,
Moved to group support
Where does it show up? Can you kindly provide a screenshot of the page it shows up in?

Tim,
It showed up on the homepage of my Facebook account exactly the way I posted it on the group wall. I cannot produce a screen shot, as I immediately removed the post due to the sensitive nature of the contents. Sorry.
There was a three hour lag before it show up on my home page.

While the stories show up & are visible to you, the stories shouldn't be visible to other members who are not part of the group.

Re: How secret are secret groups
The story showed up on my wall, which does give public access.
Also, is there a way to directly link two groups, or to create a sub-group within a group?
I appreciate your time and effort.

I don't believe that functinoality is available at this time; however you could post the link on your group. To share a link with your group, use the share menu at the top of the group.valntino wrote:
