Stopped seeing when people like or comment on my status

Facebook forced me to change my password. But now when I go into my page, it says edit my profile instead of view my profile. And I see the notifications of people liking my status and commenting on it, but when I go to it, can't see it. Can someone help me with this?

Facebook has been having some issues lately... maybe it's that.
