name change Empty name change

I would like to change my name. I have tried twice to change it and it won't change. A friend of mine can change his name instantly, yet when I try the name doesn't change. Is there a waiting period for a name change. Thank you for your help

Moved from Facebook General to Facebook Support Privacy issues

I presume you mean your name on Facebook ??


There is a 'waiting period' of about 24 hours normally but you do need to verify that the name change is authentic

Have you recently logged in to Facebook see what the progress is ?
