Chat history

Dear facebook-users,

I am using facebook germany.
A few minutes ago I talked to a good friend of mine in the facebook chat.
However she told me things I wrote her in the night via chat in facebook.

I still wonder because tonight I have not been online in the chat.
No I am serious thinking about abuse of my workstation and my account.
I am living in a community and my workstation is always online...

Is it possible to get the chat history with its contents from tonight?

Please help me and thanks in advance!

If you want to check you chat history with her, click the messages icon at the top of your Facebook page.


Then click on the name of the friend you've been chatting with, and there is your history with her. You may scroll up to get older conversations.

But I have no conversation via facebook messages.
I only have chat sessions with her. Chatting here in Germany we call the simultanious talking when both are online and get in contact by the list on the right side. I think it is called instand messaging in english!

Chat histories are stored in Messages, if you use the New Messages layout (which is now available for everybody). Just check it.

Hey, thank you.
I found the new message center and I also requested it.
However there was no invitation in my intray yet.
Maybe it tooks several days to get it.

Now my question: Whenn I use the message center, may I have a look to my chat conversations from the time before using the new message center?

Whoops, sorry. According to Facebook, they rolled out new messages for everybody already. Maybe they forgot your profile.

Answering your question: sadly, no. Chat history is only stored in messages from the time you start using the new system.
