chat History

I have just noticed that chat history is now saved in messages centre, and i absolutely hate this feature, is there a setting which will prevent chat history being saved in messages. Its a pain in the ass to have to go delete every line of every conversation you have. Is there an opt out box in account settings?? Many thanks for any help

I'm afraid that's one of the New Messages features that can't be turned off. I agree it's annoying to get new messages while you're chatting, but at least it's a good way to keep the track in your convos with your friends.
