I Can Not Verify My Account

My account recently got hacked and i had to loack my account for 24 hours, Now that the 24 hours is up it is asking me to verify my account by sending a code to my mobile phone however the mobile number saved is the wrong number and i no longer have access to this. can you please tell me how I can get access to my account as i am lost without my facebook?

Can you make a new account and contact Facebook team to state that your account has been hacked?

So you got hacked, I wonder if you can if you can do this by using another account.

I have made a new account using another email adress i have but can not find anything in the help section regarding my issue. I can log in to my account but it asks me to verify my mobile number but i can not do this as i no longer have the same mobile number.
Is there any other way i can verify my account as it does not give me any other options?

its in Security and the first one says Compromised then Click my friend's account even though it was your own account. Once you get to there click the first one then you have the info.

I have read the information on that page but it does not say how i can verify my page. I reported my account being hacked saturday and thats why my account was blocked for 24 hours. my account is back on now but i can not access it due to not having th mobile to verify the account.

I have tried to contact facebook on the query page that you told me to go on but it keeps saying sorry, something went wrong?
Does it usually take long for facebook to get back to you when you have emailed them with your problem?

if your account has been hacked and there is access to your login email address, reset your password by selecting the "Forgot" link that appears above the Password field on the Login page. When you have done this, an email is sent to you with steps for this process.

• Run a current version of anti-virus software. If your computer has been infected, you will need to remove the harmful programs to keep your info secure.
• From your Facebook Account Settings page, reset your password. Always choose a different one than you use for other sites. Make up a password with a complex number string, unusual letters, or a combo of punctuation marks. It should be at least six characters long. It is not advisable to use common words from the dictionary

You may wish to tell us what ,if any, is the Protection on the one computer you use to access Facebook

Is it all fully up to date?

Yes the computer is fully preotected by bullGuard. I have scanned the computer and there is no virus or infected files.
I have tried contacting facebook but still no reply since saturday.

I have tried both links, the first link is to reset a password not the phone number.
I tried the sencond link on saturday and still have not recieved a reply from facebook.

Is there a contact number for facebook so i can contact them and discuss the issue?

I have tried putting a landline number in thta link you sent me and it just says that the number is not registered.

You are telling them what land- line phone number you wish them to call you on

That is the plan...

(unless they have changed their protocols yet again as doing what I told you to do has most definitly worked for others on here ..)

Thanks for your help. My account is back on now.
I tried logging on yesterday and it said i can verify my account by identifying my friends in photos. That option never came up before though.
