Facebook problems

i've tried to reset my password on my facebook account & after several attempts it is now saying i have exceeded my password attempts. i have to contact the help centre but no one has gotten back to me yet. this is going on since last night.cam someone please help me?!!

i did recieve an email to reset my password but when i put in the code to reset it i was told that i had exceeded my password attempts, i have tried a few times since this has happened, but it does say that if i keep trying that i can be blocked out for a few days.is that right?thanking you for your help.
