Claiming A Community Page

I am trying to figure out how to claim a brand page, so that I can connect with fans (push announcements, new content, etc) to them. We have a group of people that already "like" us and list us on their interests page. However, I can't seem to claim that community page so that I can manage it.

Just snooping around, I find that a lot of big name brands, musicians, etc don't have separate community and brand pages, so I am assuming that merging them is still a possibility.
