possible foriegn scam?

been getting a lot of messages from iphone users not on my friends list who are from foriegn countries and the message is in a foreign language. as far as i can tell its not a link. there is a couple current scams involving facebook users who sign on to facebook mobile with their iphones but none of them are like this one. the only commonality between the people who have been sending me messages is that the names and pictures appear to come from eastern european or arabaic people. here is one of the messages i received from a guy calling him self ersin kartal:

VALLA GÜLESİM YOKTU BENİ GÜLDÜRDÜNÜZ
ADAM TÜRKÇE BİLMİYOR GALİBA

any one have any ideas? again all these seem to come from iphones...

update: the language is turkish but the translator i used didnt translate the message very well.

As a pure ( so far) matter of intrigue; have you yet logged into Facebook and tried to find this individual on Facebook ?

How has this "Ersin Kartal" guy contacted you? Messages? Chat? Outside Facebook? What's the link to his profile?

I'll ask people in our Fan Page to see if they can translate that message to English, too.
